After the Lord spoke and said to them to leave the comforts of their home in El Paso, Tx and told them to go to a town in middle of nowhere, a small town called Mathis.

Genaro and Rita asked themselves, "Why Mathis?" So with a Mini Van and a mere $500.00(dollars) in their pocket, Genaro and Rita Huante would launch out on a journey to the small town. It was an awesome and Divine plan that God Inspired on their journey and it would enlighten and change their lives, and the lives of many others forever!

A divine ministry that they could only be deposited in their hearts by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, this Journey was placed in their hearts in 1988 and would begin unfolding on April 16, 2003 (22 years later).

Genaro and Rita Huante obediently arrived in Mathis to set up the Alabaster Jar Ministries and the Rapha House Ministries 19 years ago. With only the money and little bit of clothes they began to make key chains (to Fundraise) and pass out flyers on the streets to support their humble beginnings and to launch out into action.

The vision that they were called for was to lift up the Name of Jesus Christ and to tell the lost, the drug addict, the prostitute, the crack head, and the homeless that there is hope, that there is love, there is peace, only found In Jesus Christ! this would launch the beginning of The Rapha House (for Men) and The Alabaster Jar Ministry (for women). Christian homes where Jesus Christ would open doors to souls without hope, or direction.

Pastor Genaro accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his life at the Victory Outreach on May 5, 1988. Rita made her own life changing decision for Jesus on November 7, 1995.

Pastor Genaro's 22 years and Rita's 16 years of service for the Lord allowed them to bring much love, knowledge, wisdom, and experience to the lost souls in need of guidance and love. In addition, they know the mentality of the streets and of those they show God's love to.

Pastor Genaro was a heroin addict for 22 years and Rita was addicted to drugs and prostitution for 20 years of her life, but now they are both bring many lost souls into their home to demonstrate the love of God, and to teach them daily the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are making disciples daily and have now over 80 souls who are empowered by the Holy Spirit and are continuously working for the Lord and together keeping God's vision Alive!

These ministries prepare and launches believers in Christ to go and preach the Life Changing Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost in the streets in the inner cities. The Passionate vision of saving lost souls, and to establish "Caves of Adullam" in every city, where the Lord will prepare, train, and fully equip ordinary men & women to be transformed to become extraordinary warriors in the senior elite army of the Lord Jesus Christ, so that through Him we may fulfill the Great Commission.
