Hi! I'm Aneesh, an aspiring entrepreneur in my sophomore year at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, pursuing a dual degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
While my passion lies in the intersection of computer science and applied mathematics, some of my ongoing research interests include algorithms in Medieval Indian mathematics, building neural networks to model myocardium (heart) tissue, and designing mathematical models to predict markets.
In addition to my research pursuits, I love taking part in mathematical competitions, speed Rubik's Cube solving, playing the piano, and volunteering. Qualified for the AIME in the American Math Competition (AMC) 12, attaining a position in the top 5% among all test-takers in 2023.
Selected to represent Team India in the 2023 World International Math Olympiad (WIMO), earning a coveted spot as one of three individuals from a pool of over 2000 test-takers.
Demonstrated global excellence by securing the #6 rank worldwide out of 17,899 participants in the CEMC Cayley Contest for both 2021 and 2022.
Achieved Honor Roll status in the CEMC Fermat, Pascal & Fryer Contests, standing in the top 1% among 35,000+ test-takers.
Secured a gold medal in the 2023 Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO), attaining a position in the top 8% among all participants.
Earned a gold medal in the 2022 Hong Kong International Mathematics Olympiad (HKIMO) Finals, distinguishing myself among the top ~5% of all test-takers.
