I am a Brazilian astrophysicist fascinated by galaxies in our Universe!
In my work, I study Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) feeding and feedback phenomena to understand how supermassive black holes shape the evolution of galaxies.
I obtained my B.Sc. (2013) and M.Sc. (2015) in Physics at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil. Then in 2015 I moved to France to pursue my Ph.D. in Astronomy & Astrophysics on the study of AGN feeding and feedback from the Observatoire de Paris, France, obtained in 2019. My first postdoctoral experience was at the National Observatory of Athens, in Greece.
Since 2021 I joined the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in the beautiful island of Tenerife, Spain, first as a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral fellow and now as an ExGal-Twin fellow.
I am interested on the study of AGN, with a focus on interplay of the supermassive black hole fuelling at the center of galaxies and the subsequent feedback from the active nuclei. I use a multi-wavelength observational approach to my research, with a particular interest in the sub-millimeter observations of cold molecular gas with ALMA and NOEMA.

One of the advantages of being a observer is to actually visit the most remote and beautiful places in this world!
