With the grit and effort of the students and parents, we sent several students to their schools of choice! 

Although Townsend Harris HS is not a specialized school, it is commendable that students be accepted because of its difficult administration process and low acceptance rate. Students need an average of at least 95%. Furthermore, the new application processes ask students to write an essay and provide a video response explaining to the admission staff who the students are and why they should be accepted. 

The schools the students picked only tell part of the story. The students chose their schools as "first-pick" because of variables like commuting, programs, and offered APs. This means that even though the students broke the benchmark score, whichever school they wrote down as their first choice on their application locks in their placement in admissions once the score is met. 

Many students I've worked with have been admitted to great schools through SAT preparation and college essay revisions. However, students and parents agree that their early academic growth was the most critical factor in their success. Without a solid foundation in middle school, including the discipline and work ethic to strive for excellence, they wouldn't have been able to reach their goals. Therefore, I strongly believe in the importance of middle school education in shaping students' futures, as the skills and habits developed during this time have a lasting impact.

The majority of the students were accepted into Computer Science, Medicine, Business, Law, and even Education programs.
All students who applied to CUNYs and SUNYs were accepted with a 100% acceptance rate.
