Hi, welcome.

This is the home page of North East UK musician and general technology bloke Andy Honeybone , dabbler in playing many things, composing, writing, coding music apps for Arduino and Mozaic (iOS), Cubase, Ableton Live, electronics construction, mending things, DIY and being fairly handy in the kitchen. Seems the Contact form stopped working at some point. I'm investigating.

My main online presence is my YouTube 'VainBells' channel. VainBells is an anagram of Bill Evans - a jazz pianist who has been a major influence on my composing and playing. Most of the pieces on the channel are either my takes on Bill's compositions / reharmonisations or my own works that are not always obviously linked but are invariably owing a debt to Bill Evans.

For the Music Tech 'making and mending' stuff, I've started another channel shamelessly called Andy Honeybone..

I'm on SoundCloud as soundcloud.com/andyhoneybone. This is my current focus as of 2026. There's also an end to end version of Haddocks' Eyes with the theme and 4 variations. Also , the Live Recording of the Rural Jazz Suite and a remix of Itchycoo Park I did for an Eventide competition.
