Anderson Weaver (goes by Andy) is a Junior at Council Rock South, and loves art! Ever since she was a kid she always loved drawing and coloring. Her mom has tons of pictures of her as a baby doing art with paint all over her. Andy's passion has led her to want to pursue a career in art and take all the art classes that she can! She has been taking art related courses in schools for years, as well as summer and weekend classes. Andy will be applying to art school in the fall of 2021, and hopes to be accepted into a 2-D animation major. She has been drawing digitally for years, and finally started using the procreate app two years ago (Which is what her entire SI was created on). Using the different layer tools and adjustment tools, she was able to really improve with the complexity of her art. She hopes to inspire others with her art as well as tell a story that the viewers can attach to. Creating art has helped Andy develop more as a person and unleash her creativity, while finding friends in her community. For example, Andy's love of art has led her to be able to be a counselor in training at the Mitchener Art Museum, help kids learn how to do art, and join Art Forum. Art has helped Andy through a lot and she hopes that her own personal artwork can help others embrace their creative side!
