Privacy Policy for Update Guide for Android 13
Effective Date: September 29, 2026
Multi_Software built the Update Guide for Android 13 app as a commercial mobile application. The app may display ads and also offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. This Service is provided by Multi_Software and is intended for use as is.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our app. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. App Purpose
Update Guide for Android 13 is an informational guide and utility app. It helps users view basic device readiness information and learn how to check official Android system updates through their phone settings.
This app does not download, install, modify, or provide Android system updates or custom firmware. Official updates are delivered only by your device manufacturer, carrier, or built-in phone settings.
2. Information We Collect
We do not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or address.
The app may temporarily read certain public device information available on your phone using standard Android APIs, such as:
• Android version and SDK level
• Device brand, model, manufacturer, and related build details
• Security patch level
• Battery percentage, charging status, and related battery details
• Storage information
• Display and RAM details
This information is processed locally and used only inside the app to show update readiness and device guidance. We do not store, upload, or transmit this device information to our own servers.
The app may also store limited preferences on your device only, such as:
• Theme / appearance preference
• Onboarding completion status
• Ad-free purchase unlock status
These preferences stay on your device and are not uploaded to our own servers.
3. Permissions
Depending on your Android version and device, the app may use permissions such as:
• Internet access (to load ads, analytics, billing, and consent services)
• Network / Wi-Fi state (to support ads and connectivity-related app behavior)
• Advertising ID (for advertising and related Google services)
• Google Play Billing (for the optional Remove Ads purchase)
4. In-App Purchases
The app offers an optional one-time “Remove Ads” purchase through Google Play Billing.
Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. Google may process purchase-related information according to Google’s own policies, including your Google account and transaction details needed to complete, restore, or verify the purchase.
We do not receive your full payment card details. Locally, the app may store only a simple unlock flag so ads can remain removed after a successful purchase or restore.
5. Analytics
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve stability and purchase-related flows.
Firebase Analytics may collect technical and usage information such as:
• App events (for example, paywall opened, purchase started, purchase success, cancel, fail, pending, and restore results)
• Device and app technical information
• Approximate usage statistics
This information is processed by Google Firebase according to Google’s privacy policy. We do not operate our own backend server to collect or store analytics data.
6. Third-Party Services
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to provide, improve, and personalize their services.
Third-party services used by this app include:
• Google Play Services
• Google AdMob
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent management
• Google Firebase Analytics
• Google Play Billing

7. Advertising
This app may display ads using Google AdMob, including formats such as banner, interstitial, and native ads.
AdMob may collect and process certain information such as device identifiers, Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic information to show ads, prevent fraud, measure ad performance, and comply with legal requirements.
If you purchase Remove Ads, ads are disabled in the app for that Google account purchase state. Depending on your region, you may still see a consent form (managed via Google UMP) for privacy and ad personalization preferences. You can also manage ad personalization from your device or Google account settings at any time.
You can open Privacy Choices from the app Settings where available.
8. Log Data
In case of an app error or service issue, third-party services may collect diagnostic information such as device type, operating system version, app configuration, time and date of use, and other technical statistics. This information helps improve app stability and performance.
We do not operate our own backend server to collect or store user log data.
9. Cookies
This app does not directly use cookies. However, third-party services used in the app, such as Google AdMob and Google Analytics / Firebase, may use cookies or similar technologies to provide ads, measure performance, and improve their services.
10. External Links
The app may contain links to external websites or services, such as the Google Play Store or our Privacy Policy page. If you click an external link, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not operated by us, so we strongly advise you to review their privacy policies.
