I am a Research Scientist at Fundamental AI Research at Meta, and an adjunct Assistant Professor of Physics at University of Maryland, College Park.

I am broadly interested in emergent behavior of systems with large number of degrees of freedom. Presently all my efforts are concentrated on scientific foundations of AI and LLMs in particular.

Some topics I worked on: topological phases of matter, fractons, classical and quantum liquid crystals, cold atomic gases, chiral active matter, integrable systems in 1D and deep neural networks.
