Andrew's 4th Grade Family
Andrew's 4th Grade Family
My teaching career began in 2004, shortly after I graduated from Spring Arbor University where I played on the volleyball team and pole vaulted for the track team. I taught in Colon for 5 years and then joined the Andrews Elementary team. So far in my teaching career I have taught grades 2-6, but love my 4th grade position the most. I look forward to another great year with my students and can’ t wait to see how much we can do together.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and love completing projects around the house. I try to go on a walk with my two littles, Cole and Piper on a daily basis. I also have a step-daughter, Kacie, who attends Centreville schools. We live on a small farm south of Three Rivers.
This will be my first year of teaching and I am so very excited to be here at Andrews with you! I just recently graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in May with my degree in education and I have returned back near home to teach. I have had the opportunity to teach in all different grade levels, but 4th grade is one of my favorites. I cannot wait to be a part of the Andrews family!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Ethan. Recently, Ethan and I welcomed home our new Golden Retriever puppy, Ranger! He keeps us very busy. I love being active and can often be found running, on the tennis court, or playing pickleball. I also enjoy traveling and have been working towards visiting every National Park in the United States. Aside from being active and traveling, you can find me snuggled up with our cat Chip and a good book, helping Ethan out on the farm, or spending time with my family and friends.
Over the course of the school year, I will work hard to make sure that all students feel safe inside of my classroom. I cannot wait to meet everyone and have a wonderful year with one another.
