Dr. Kleinsmith has supported me with key guiding knowledge in the area of Human-Computer Interaction and its relation to key design principles used in Digital Product Design. It was through her course, IS 303 - Fundamentals of Human-Computer Interaction that I got to learn important concepts of digital user interfaces and begin a growing passion of digital products.

Professor Eric Brown

Eric Brown is currently the Program Coordinator for the Individualized Study Program (INDS) at UMBC. He has had a long association with INDS, graduating from the program in 1993 with a proposal concentrating in Chemistry and History and serving as a program advisor from 2002 to 2006. He is also affiliated with the History Department at UMBC, having taught for the department as an adjunct faculty member for more than a decade. He later received his MA in History of Science at Princeton University. Prof Brown has been immensely helpful in helping me seek various integrating strategies for my degree plan. From his specific feedback critiques to his humor to his knowledge of different perspectives, he serves as an amazing advisor that prepares his students for success.
