My goals for the IDT program are to learn how best to use technology to teach effectively in diverse classrooms with diverse needs. I want to expand upon the brief introduction to educational technology that I received in my credential program – and learn how to make educational material myself. Furthermore, I have a genuine love of learning ideas on the cutting edge of education, and I feel that this section of the educational field will provide me with the latest ideas and practices that will equip me to be a leader in my community.

Professionally, I hope to remain in the education sector – whether it be in K-12 education or higher education. However, I am also interested in private sector work in making instructional material and other content. I feel content so long as I know I am contributing to the education of others, especially in my community.
