Human Origins (AS.290.101): An introduction to human evolution, with an focus on natural selection, primate ecology and behavior, hominin evolution and phylogeny, and modern human behavior. Lecture and discussion based course, offered during the Fall semester.
Topics in Human Evolutionary Biology (AS.290.301): Advanced topics in human evolution, with a focus on great apes, derived adaptations of the hominin lineage, extant hunter-gatherers, and modern human behavior. Seminar-based course, offered irregularly.
Behavioral Evolution Lab (AS.290.306): Immersive research and methods course where students conduct empirical research and perform statistical analyses to study the evolution of behavior. Lab-based course, offered during the Spring semester.
Evolution & Human Behavior (AS.290.307): Advanced topics course with an emphasis on psychological adaptations, human behavioral ecology, and evolutionary medicine & mismatch. Seminar-based course, offered during the Fall semester.
Senior Seminar in Behavioral Biology (AS.290.490): An examination of historical and contemporary theories/perspectives in evolutionary and behavioral biology. Readings and foci vary each semester. Seminar-based course, offered during the Spring semester.
