Andrew Burger is a New Jersey based artist, who makes mixed media paintings to discuss/depict nature, ability, LGBTQ life, and family. He was born and raised in Livingston, New Jersey by a single mother. 

Andrew graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, and Design cum laude. He's very influenced by impressionism, post impressionism, modern art, pop culture, and his career working with children on the spectrum. He has a Registered Behavior Tech (RBT) Certification, and has the eventual goal of pursuing a Masters in ABA to become a Behavior Analyst. 

Andrew tends to work with acrylic, and oil on stretched canvas. Most of his paintings are heavily textured, often with the use of added materials such as modeling paste medium, plaster, armature wire, and string, to add dimension. He really likes working with transparency, color, and shape.
