Andrew Vicencio joined Political Podcast host Jack Riccardi in discussing the future of San Antonio and Vicencio's plans as mayor.
Retired LTC Andrew Vicencio is dedicated to serving his community through his continued service to San Antonio Veterans. He has assisted veterans with their disability ratings for several years and is active in supporting the veteran community.
Vicencio has pledged to donate 10% of his annual city council salary to charities such as Texas Paralyzed Veterans and the National Childrens Cancer Society.
Vicencio stands by the idea that it's ridiculous that a city council member and mayor is going to make more than an SAPD Patrolman or Firefighter with five years of less on the job tenure. He is also disappointed in the failure of the current city council allowing for a new stadium that could result in the displacement of 1,000 residents with Project Marvel.
Vicencio stands by his city and wants to lower crime rates and hire 2,000 more SAPD officers over the next four years.
