This seminar is meant for any interested members of our department and the university at large--faculty, graduate students and undergraduates--to convene and discuss matters related to artificial intelligence and its uses and impacts on the world of mathematics. There is one rule: ALL viewpoints are sought and time for productive discussion is expected. There is no restriction on the topics that will be covered as long as they are related in some way to AI and mathematics.

Abstract: We all know by now that LLMs can solve complex mathematical problems. The question is, where does that leave us? How do we use them productively in our own training and research? I'll describe my own views and practices on using LLMs for education and research.
