About Me

Hi, my name is Andrew Petosa! I grew up in New York on Long Island and graduated from Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School. I participated in the Wall Street Investors Club in my senior year and the wind ensemble, symphonic band & marching band throughout high school. I originally wanted to be a business major, but my interest in sports sparked my decision to pursue a Sport Management major. I played basketball all my life and joined the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) to compete with teams across Long Island, NY.  Another activity was a basketball clinic. The coach who taught the clinic gave me an opportunity to coach younger kids, with over 1200+ hours of coaching experience.  Never having done such a task before, I soon realized that one of my strengths is leadership. I seek situations where I need to learn new skills so that I can improve myself.
