Biography
Since September 2024, I have been an EPSRC Doctoral Prize Fellow at the Open University. I received my PhD from the University of Birmingham in 2023 and previously held a one-year postdoc in Birmingham before moving to the OU.
In September, I will move to Loughborough University to take up a two-year Vice-Chancellor Independent Research Fellowship.
Research interests
My main research interests lie in aperiodic order, ergodic theory, symbolic dynamics and fractal geometry. I'm also interested in connections between these fields and other areas of mathematics and science, such as structural properties of aperiodic metamaterials and complexity of natural phenomena.
