Currently I am a researcher working as project assistant at the Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry at TU Wien, in Vienna, Austria.

Awards, Distinctions, and Fellowships

• 2025 ASL Travel Grant (600 USD).  

• I received an Honorable Mention in the Exact and Natural Sciences category of the Colombian National Science Awards, granted by the Alejandro Ángel Escobar Foundation. 2025. 

• I was awarded a 2.5-year DOC Fellowship by the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW). 2025.

• I won the Shizu and Yu Takeuchi Prize 2024 for the best thesis in natural sciences in Colombia, awarded by the Colombian Academy of Exact, Physical, and Natural Sciences. 2025. 

• I received a Summa Cum Laude distinction in my master's degree for my thesis Iterated forcing with finitely additive measures: applications of probability to forcing theory, 2023. 

• I won the contest Best Undergraduate Theses, Version XXIX, 2020 at Universidad Nacional de Colombia with my thesis On the independence of the normal Moore space conjecture. 2020.
