I am a mathematician and more specifically a geometer. My main interests are Riemannian geometry and metric geometry, in particular how we can get topological information from them.
I am an assistant professor at Department of Mathematics of Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF).
I obtained my PhD at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) with the supervision of Fernando Galaz-García. My thesis can be found here.
I find spheres really interesting, for my undergrad thesis I worked with the clasical Sphere theorem of Berger, Klingenberg and Rauch. Then for my master's dissertation I studied a generalization of the previous theorem made by Grove and Shiohama.
