Mathematical Olympiads Teaching
Part of the Upper School team, I am teaching preparatory classes for International Mathematical Competitions (2019-Present). I also initiated a series of lectures entitled "From Silver to Gold" meant to help students improve to an IMO Gold Level standard. The topics I covered are:
Graph Theory;
Pigeonhole Principle;
Extremal Principle;
Combinatorial Geometry;
Protassov's Lemma;
Number Theory from Silver to Gold.
In June-July 2024, I participated as an instructor for The 2nd International Mathematics Summer Camp in Beijing. The topics I covered are:
Desargues' Involution Theorem;
A survey of square partition problems;
Sawayama’s Lemma and Sawayama-Thebault’s Theorem;
The theorems of Ceva and Menelaus.
In June-July 2023, I participated as an instructor for The 1st International Mathematics Summer Camp in Beijing. The topics I covered are:
A short and thorough study of approximation problems;
Combinatorial geometry: Helly and Minkowski;
Conics in geometry problems;
Square roots and logarithms in Olympiad Problems;
Protassov's Lemma.
