Mr. Andreas Andreou was awarded his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a four-year curriculum encompassing Mathematics, Statistics, Probability, and Operational Research from the University of Patras in 2008. He further obtained his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computational Mathematics and Informatics in Education from the same institution in 2012. His master's thesis, which received an exemplary grade of 10 out of 10, is titled ‘Numerical Solution of Equations and Interpolation by Computer for the Educational Process’. It thoroughly investigates numerical methods including bisection, Regula-Falsi, secant, and Newton-Raphson for the resolution of nonlinear equations, alongside a detailed presentation of Newton-Gregory’s forward and backward differences interpolation formulae, with a particular focus on pedagogical applications. Presently, he is pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Nicosia.
