My name is Andreas Stavrou and I am an L. E. Dickson instructor at the University of Chicago. My mentor is Benson Farb.

Previously, I completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge with Oscar Randal-Williams. 

I am interested in geometric, algebraic and low-dimensional topology. My specific interests include configuration spaces (usually of surfaces), the mapping class group of surfaces and the automorphism group of free groups, and interactions of the above via group representations.
