Project Description

For this project I had to collect images, animation, audio, and video. I had to use Creative Commons and other websites to find the required samples.

Image Sample - JPG

I found this image serching for " alpen" on the Creative Commons website. I downloaded the medium size image from Flickr and then i uploaded to my page. The image is shared under the CC- BY-NC-ND 2.0 license.

That means is free to:

Share- copy and distribute the material in any medium or format. But only under the following terms:

Attribution - You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.

This is an example of an animated gif that I found on DeviantArt. I saved the gif to my downloads and then uploaded to my website.

I couldn't find any licensing information. Therefore, I will credit and link to the original source and follow the TASL rule of thumb, that stands for Title, Author, Source, License.

Video Sample - YouTube

This song on YouTube is an example of an embedded video.

In this Lara Fabian -Je T'aime video Lara Fabian a famous singer sings in French language about love.

I embedded this video from YouTube and pasted the URL.

I put a sample audio file to the left. I chose this because it has a life in it. I downloaded the link and then I embedded to my website.

Lesson Learned

I learned a lot about this project. How to embed videos, songs, animation and all about the different media types. I never heard about Creative Commons and what is that good for. This project was a little bit challenging but I'm glad I learned about, how to correctly credit the media I find and use and about all the new skills and information I received.
