Data entry of Indian Ministry of Health  and Family Welfare's annual yearbooks - December 2020

Documents for 3 decades of family planning in India were retrieved online in early 2020 (contact me directly if you wish to access the soft copies). The first step was to identify relevant information to exploit for the paper "Sterilizations and immunization in India". 11 relevant categories were identified, all with information at the state/union territory level and at least 5 years of information. The information was then manually entered (ABBY FineReader was used when possible) by a research assistant. Access them here.

Administrative documents in Nepal (data collection and data entry) - October 2018-May 2019

Digitization of administrative documents relative to community forest user groups (CFUG) in Nepal for ANR project "Local Governance of Forest Resources: Development, Environment and Political Economy in Nepal". Selected sections of relevant administrative documents for about 3,000 CFUG were scanned by a team of surveyors in 14 different district headquarters. A small portion of the documents were then manually entered. I was in charge of the full data collection (budgeting, pilot, recruitment and training of surveyors, monitoring).
