Nel novembre del 2017 il mio marchio di identificazione (VR 25) ha compiuto 70 anni. Io lavoro da più di 50 anni con gli strumenti di mio padre Mario. Tutti i pezzi che realizzo sono diversi uno dall'altro e disegnati appositamente per il cliente. La fusione con l'osso di seppia contribuisce a dare l'unicità ai miei oggetti. Visitare con curiosità assieme a mia moglie Francesca Paesi e Popoli lontani sono stati fondamentali per il mio bellissimo lavoro. Anche la musica ha un ruolo molto importante durante il mio lavoro. Sono consapevole di avere una grande fortuna di saper lavorare con le mani: si può sognare un oggetto e poi realizzarlo materialmente "giocando" con l'oro o l'argento e accostando tutti i colori che la natura ci offre attraverso le pietre. Recentemente ho avuto la fortuna di vedere in Islanda l'Aurora Boreale: un meraviglioso Opale immenso nel cielo. Ho avuto un dipendente per 20 anni, Davide, che prosegue nell'artigianato con la passione che questo lavoro merita.

In November 2017 my trademark celebrates his 70th birthday. I have been working for over 50 years using the tools I have inherited from my father Mario. Every piece I make is exclusively unique and designed according to each costumer’s personality and life-history. The cuttlefish-bone casting method I use, further contributes to giving uniqueness to my creations. Furthermore, travelling through far away people and places, together with my wife Francesca, has been fundamental for the enrichment of my beloved profession. ... Music is another element which plays a significant part in my creative work. I am aware of being really lucky in being able to work with my hands: I can dream an object and I am able to materially realize it, playing with gold and silver and combining all of the colours that nature offers us through its stones. I have recently had the lucky chance to witness the Aurora Borealis in Iceland: A marvellous opal in the sky. I have had an employee for 20 years, Davide, who carries on the craftsmanship with the passion this profession deserves.
