I am Full Professor at the Department of Information, Operations and Management Sciences (Industrial Organization, Logistics & Technology Division) of TBS Education. I am the Head of the MSc in Purschasing and Supply Chain Management (full time program). I am also Associate Member at the Toulouse School of Economics, from where I obtained the Qualification to Supervise Research. I received both my M.A and PhD in Quantitative Economics from CORE, Université Catholique de Louvain. I also hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Bologna. I spent many years in Barcelona as a post-doc researcher (IESE Business School) and as an adjoint professor (both at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and at Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona). I was an affiliated researcher at the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB), University of Barcelona. I was also a visiting scholar at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. I regularly visited Université Pantheon-Assas Paris II and Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
My main research focus is in industrial economics, specifically in the areas of digital economy, managerial economics, competition policy and regulation, and economics of innovation. I am also an expert in the fields of game theory, environmental economics, health economics, and international economics. I have published in leading top journals such as the Journal of the European Economic Association, Management Science, Strategy Science, Games and Economic Behavior, European Economic Review, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economics & Management Strategy, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Resource and Energy Economics, Health Economics, and Information Economics and Policy, among others. I have also written a book on the economics of the european integration.
I regularly teach Operations Management, Digital Economy, Industrial Organization, and Game Theory.
In addition to being a native Italian speaker I am also fluent in English, Spanish and French.
