Teaching
I currently teach the following courses:
Digitalization and Trade; Topics in International Economics (BSc seminars)
Globalization and Labor Markets; Urban Economics (BSc lectures)
Development and Growth; Economic Geography, Regional and Urban Economics (MSc lectures)
Multinational Firms; Causal Inference in Mostly International Economics; Empirical Modelling (MSc seminars)
International Trade Policy (PhD course, GSEFM)
I have also taught the Master course Intermediate Econometrics at ETH Zurich in Fall 2013, 2014, and 2015. This course was a recommended elective course in the Management, Technology and Economics Master (MSc ETH MTEC).
The course covered instrumental variables estimation of linear regression models, the estimation of models with limited dependent variables, nonlinear regression models, and panel data methods. In addition, I provided insights into causal methods related to experimental data. Students applied the methods to empirical problems in Stata under my supervision in class.
