I currently work as a researcher for the city of Cologne, where I study and monitor the local housing market.  Until 2022, I was a researcher in the Laboratory of Digital and Computational Demography at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research. Before that, I worked as a researcher in the Family and Population Studies Research Group at the University of Leuven and the Deparment of Sociology at the University of Groningen.
