15 Fit Challenge
Each year we encourage our players to come in to tryouts fit and prepared to compete. The 15 fit challenge tests players in a timed 2-mile terrain run, a 5 minute juggling event, and a series of ten 160 yard Husky sprints. Each player is ranked based on their finish and the top 15 get honored with the title "The 15 FIT"

Fitness/skill testing will take place on the second day of try-outs.
2 mile run: run the course, where will you finish? Points will be awarded in order of finishers.
Here is how it runs.
Start on the path in front of the weight room on the east end of the retaining net.
Follow sidewalk to Crosstown, turn left on the main path at Crosstown.
Follow path to where “School Border” ends, turn left along border.
Now go along school property and follow all the way around softball/baseball fields.
Once you get to the last Softball field go to the Path along Andover Blvd.
Follow path all the way to Stop lights (Crosstown) turn left.
Take this path all the way back up to the school border again. (This is where the overlap comes in.)
Follow school border again, but at the end of the fields turn left and run along the soccer field and tennis courts back to the sidewalk. Turn left and follow sidewalk to the finish line which will be located by the lamp post next to the field closest to Crosstown.
Husky Challenge Run: How many can you get in under 40 seconds, with a 30 second rest time between each? (Cones/lines will be set up 15 and 25 yards apart). Start at end line, sprint to the second cone (25 yards) touch it and turn at speed back to the end line. Do this twice. Then touch the first cone (15 yards) twice. 160 yards total for 1 run. 40 seconds for the run with 30 seconds rest in between.
Juggling Challenge: How many consecutive juggles can you get with your feet only in 5 minutes? You can keep the ball in the air with other parts of your body, but only count juggles with your feet.
