BIG AND IN YOUR FACE, was the vibe I was going for. Bye Bye Birdie is an amazing comedic musical with such a great opportunity to build upon. I wanted the whole visual to radiate the 1950s and we did that by buying strong colors and circle dresses. The Teen Chorus circle skirts were handmade, each skirt was planned out with the help of a mom and we were able to get them each a vibrant skirt. This was a massive production with so many costumes each ensemble character had at least 2 costumes with many having more, The Teen Chorus starts in bright pedal pushers with matching cardigans and then they each had their skirt for the rest of the show. The Adult chorus had their day outfits and then sleepwear for Kids(reprise). There were also other ensembles like the Shriners and the Soilders.
