I am an applied economist. I work at the Inter-American Development Bank. 

My research falls in the intersection of Public and Environmental economics.          I study policies' effectiveness in mitigating the effects of environmental shocks. For example: 

• Does free prenatal care mitigate the impacts of air pollution in-utero on infants' health 

• Does air conditioning mitigate the impacts of extreme temperatures in-utero on infants' health
