My name is Anderson de Andrade and I teach in order to continue my own education. The classroom is a place for dialogue and development between students and teacher. This website serves in order to further this vision.

About Me:

I teach 5th grade at International Community School in the Oakland Unified School District.

I am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Urban Education: Policy and Administration at Loyola Marymount University. Before Loyola Marymount University, I studied English Literature and Spanish at Georgetown University. I have also worked in the Latin American Youth Center of D.C., the Center for Social Justice at Georgetown University, and the Office of Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio.
