Call for Applications
Supported by Amazon Science, ANDEA 2022 invites your application for its Test-of-time Award and Rising Star Award. These awards are designed to promote high-impact work and outstanding young researchers in the anomaly and novelty detection community. We also set up a Best Paper Award to acknowledge high-quality accepted workshop papers. Each awardee will receive a monetary prize, in addition to a certificate.

Test-of-time Award
This award aims to promote high-impact work on areas of ANDEA by honoring articles that were published in recent years and have made significant contribution to the community.
Eligibility
A peer-reviewed article within the scope of ANDEA, published in any journal/conference in 2012 or later (i.e., the publication is within 10 years). Survey/review articles are NOT considered for this award.
The work has made a very significant impact in the community, measured by, e.g., citations, industry use, and real-world applications, etc.
Applicant must complete the Test-of-time Award application form
Applicant must include two support letters from experts in the area (excluding the authors of the work)
The awardee must attend the ANDEA 2022 workshop and give a 20-minute presentation
Application
The applicant need to combine 1) the application form, 2) two support letters, and 3) the nominated article in the indicated numeric order into one single pdf file, and submit the combined pdf file via EasyChair at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=andea2022-award, with "Test-of-time Award Application" in the title field in the EasyChair submission form.
Rising Star Award
This award aims to promote emerging outstanding young researchers in the anomaly and novelty detection community .
Eligibility
The applicant received their PhD in 2017 or later (i.e., they are within 5 years of PhD graduation, including ongoing PhD candidates)
The applicant should have made major contributions to the community and are expected to be future’s leader in the relevant areas of ANDEA
Applicant must complete the Rising Star Award application form
Applicant must include two support letters from experts in the area
The awardee must attend the ANDEA 2022 workshop and give a 20-minute presentation
Application
The applicant need to combine the 1) application form, 2) curriculum vitae (CV) (10 pages max), 3) two support letters, and 4) copy of PhD certificate in the indicated numeric order into one single pdf file and submit the combined pdf file via EasyChair at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=andea2022-award, with "Rising Star Award Application" in the title field in the EasyChair submission form.
Best Paper Award
The Best Paper Award will be awarded to high-quality accepted workshop papers.
