I am a researcher at the Tata-Cornell Institute for Agriculture and Nutrition (TCI), Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.

My work lies broadly in the area of development economics with a focus on food security and nutrition, agricultural policies, social protection, rural-urban transformation, and identity politics in 2023. 

My first co-authored book on India’s food systems came out in 2019. Currently, I am working on a book project, Future of India's social welfare programs, to be published by Palgrave Macmillan.
