Dear Fellow Evangelists!

Welcome to And I Can Go and Tell, a comprehensive year-round evangelism program to support preschool through second grade families. This is a digitized update of the original classroom series released by Northwestern Publishing House in 1995. There are four big books, teacher’s guides with a mini-format of the large book, and an audio version for whole or small group application. A 30 minute video overviews the final book in the And I Can Go and Tell series and shares a 20 minute production of the musical version of the book to further encourage family evangelism strategies. The teacher’s guides offer methods for Sunday School or Christian Elementary School application.

The phonological format of the texts allows young children to be able to quickly read/memorize key storylines and to share the good news of the Gospel with others. Additionally, the cross-curricular features (math, science, social studies, art, physical education, music, dramatic play, games, and appropriate snack suggestions) keep the lesson themes fresh and meaningful. The intent is to root evangelistic practices on a scaffolding continuum rather than superficially as is done by other such programs on the market.

When first released, the hardcopy series with all its components sold for approximately $80. This second edition can be downloaded and printed should you prefer hard copies of the materials in black and white or color. You can also use the books with a projector in your classroom. This copyrighted material is free for classroom use only, so that financially challenged programs are not excluded.

May you nurture the zeal to “go and tell” beginning in fall with Who Is Martin Luther, then Christian Countdown to Christmas for Advent, Jellybean Easter Stories from Palm Sunday through Pentecost, and And I Can Go and Tell to conclude the school year or for a Vacation Bible School Program.

Special acknowledgement is given to Wisconsin’s Sigma State of Delta Kappa International for financial gifting to this project, and to David Tess and the Instructional Design Center of Wisconsin Lutheran College who spent extensive time to provide this easy to use format so you can share your passion to “go and tell!”

Joyfully Sharing,
