ABOUT US
The Anchorage Police Department's Traffic Enforcement Program started with the intention to bring more priority and safety to the general vehicular traffic within the city of Anchorage. Led by the Support Services Captain.
━━
The Police Department Traffic Enforcement Program (TEP) is a subdivision within the Anchorage Police Department focused on the advanced enforcement of traffic laws to reduce traffic collisions, their resulting injuries, and to facilitate the safe and expedient flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Performing these duties results in safer roads, fewer fatalities and injuries, and reduced property damage. TEP concentrates its enforcement in the areas with the highest collision and speed violation rates within the state of San Andreas. In addition, TEP strives to enforce maritime laws to ensure that all of the waterways in the City of Anchorage are safer. These efforts, combined with the specialized training received, have proven to be effective in reducing the number of collisions and traffic incidents, traffic infractions, and preserving safe waterways within the City of Anchorage.
