Anchor does not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any personal information.

Everything you create in the app—including your journal entries, daily ratings, highlights, streaks, statistics, settings, and reminders—is stored locally on your device and never sent to a server.

How Your Information Is Stored

All data remains on your device. Anchor does not use cloud storage, user accounts, or external databases to store your journal.

If you choose to export your journal, the exported file is created locally on your device for you to save or share. Anchor does not receive a copy of exported data.

Analytics

Anchor does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, tracking technologies, or third-party data collection services.

Your usage of the app is never monitored or profiled.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, Anchor schedules notifications locally on your device to remind you to reflect. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and do not require any server communication.

Sharing Your Information

Because Anchor does not collect your information, there is no personal data to sell, share, or disclose to third parties.

Your Data

Your journal belongs to you.

You may edit recent entries, export your journal, or permanently delete your data at any time within the app. Deleting the app will also remove any data stored locally on your device unless you have created your own export.

Children's Privacy

Anchor is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page along with the updated effective date.
