Anchor – Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Anchor, an Android application operated by Titan Systems Lab.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Anchor application, including its free and Premium features.

By downloading, installing, accessing or using Anchor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue using the application.

2. About Anchor

Anchor is a device monitoring and adaptive system-management application designed to help users understand aspects of their Android device's behaviour and performance.

Depending on the device, Android version and manufacturer restrictions, Anchor may provide features such as:

• Device and system monitoring.

• Device profiling.

• Adaptive learning and baseline stabilisation.

• Performance health information.

• Additional adaptive runtime-control features for eligible Premium users.

Feature availability and the information accessible to Anchor may vary between devices and manufacturers.

Anchor is designed to operate with minimal unnecessary user interaction. Some functions may operate in the background where supported by Android and the device manufacturer.

3. No guarantee of performance improvement

Anchor provides monitoring and system-management functionality. It does not guarantee that a device will become faster, that all performance issues will be resolved, or that crashes, overheating, battery drain, lag or other device problems will be prevented.

Device behaviour is affected by many factors, including hardware, Android versions, manufacturer software, applications, available resources and system restrictions.

Anchor does not replace professional device servicing, manufacturer support or appropriate security software.

4. Free and Premium features

Anchor may offer free features and optional paid Premium features.

The features included in each version or subscription are described within the application or on its Google Play listing. Titan Systems Lab may update, improve or modify features over time, subject to applicable laws and Google Play requirements.

Access to Premium functionality requires a valid purchase or subscription where applicable.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing.

Before purchasing, users should review the price, billing period, trial information (if offered), renewal terms and other purchase details displayed by Google Play.

Where a subscription automatically renews, Google Play may charge the applicable payment method at the end of each billing period unless the subscription is cancelled in accordance with Google Play's cancellation process.

Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their Google Play account.

Cancelling a subscription generally prevents future renewals; it does not necessarily provide an immediate refund or terminate access before the end of the current paid period.

Refunds, billing disputes, payment processing and subscription administration are subject to applicable Google Play policies and consumer protection laws.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Anchor lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the application's operation.

• Use the application for unlawful purposes.

• Attempt unauthorised access to systems or services associated with Anchor.

• Modify or distribute the application in a way that infringes applicable rights or laws.

Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

7. Privacy

Anchor is designed with privacy in mind. Its handling of information is explained in the separate Anchor Privacy Policy.

Google Play may process account and transaction information when users purchase or manage subscriptions.

Please read the Anchor Privacy Policy for further information about data handling.

8. Compatibility, availability and updates

Anchor depends on Android functionality and device-manufacturer support. Certain features may be unavailable, limited or behave differently on particular devices.

Titan Systems Lab may release updates, corrections, improvements or changes to maintain compatibility, security and functionality.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every Android device or future operating-system version.

9. Intellectual property

Anchor, including its software, branding, design and associated materials, is owned by or licensed to Titan Systems Lab and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the application for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and applicable laws.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Titan Systems Lab is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, Anchor.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Users remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and taking reasonable care of their devices and data.

11. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when necessary to reflect changes to Anchor, its features, applicable requirements or business operations.

The latest version will be made available on this page, with an updated effective date where appropriate.

Continued use of Anchor after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
