Research

My current research work focuses on the use of geochemical proxies in peat deposits from different regions to determine the past climate and environmental conditions. This will also help in understanding peat formation and accumulation in distinct climate settings of India and also has implications for understanding the evolution of wetland ecosystems vital to humans.
