Quick Search is a public website that lets users search for defense and federal specifications and standards, military handbooks, commercial item descriptions, data item descriptions, MS detail drawings, Qualified Product Lists (QPLs), and related technical documents prepared in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Defense Standardization Program (DSP). In most cases, users may download documents that have been cleared for public release. Metadata and files for indexed documents are drawn from ASSIST ( ). Both ASSIST and Quick Search are updated during a nightly process that runs each business day. QPL data is drawn from the Qualified Products Database, which is also updated each business day.

Quick Search Basic Search provides several ways to search for documents. Depending on the method selected, search terms entered, filters selected, or date range specified, a search may locate a single document or return a list of documents. Each listed document has a unique identifier (called a Document ID) and each is linked to a Document Details page that displays information about the document and lists all available document parts comprising that document's revision history.

LastPass has a Quick Search feature which let you use a shortcut to bring up a search bar, like macOS Spotlight. You could then type in your search, like go and then press CTRL/CMD+C to copy the password, or CTRL/CMD+SHIFT+C to copy the username.

This request is specific to desktop, but as you mentioned browsers. If you are using the Bitwarden Browser extension and press Ctrl/CMD+Shift+Y it will open the extension popup with focus on the search bar. Then you can type your search term and see the search results below.

Hi - Recent Lastpass convert here. I really like Bitwarden, but one feature I miss is being able to use Lastpass as a search engine within a browser. The Lastpass browser extension sets this up by default.

One more vote for this feature. I often have to enter credentials in prompts / terminal windows etc. And the quick search functionality is really needed.

This is also the reason why im currently using Keepass on Windows. I can quickly open the app from anywhere with CTRL+ALT+K and then search (CTRL+F). I wish I could go straight to searching tho.

In Windows Performance Analyzer (WPA), you can perform a quick search across all the rows in data tables. This differs from a regular data search (Search or Filter Data) in that you do not have to specify search parameters such as a query, process (for example, equal, not equal to, or contains) or filters such as match case, search up, etc.

WPA highlights all the rows (in the table) that contain the text you entered. If a row does not contain the text you entered, it is not highlighted but remains in its table row; this is important as it differs from how WPA returns search results when you use Filter To as described in Step 4.

To add a Delay Type, click the contains dropdown, select the criteria you want to use (for example, equals, contains, etc.), and then enter the search string you want to use.Tip To remove the Delay Type, click the X in the row that contains the Delay Type (as you can have more than one) you want to delete. By default, the Query includes Delay Type contains, which you can also delete.

Sometimes, you just want to be able to get to the particular issue that you're interested in. Other times, you can't remember what the issue was, but you remember that it was an open issue, assigned to you, or you have its name on the tip of your tongue. Quick search can help you in these scenarios.

Quick search also enables you to perform "smart" searches with minimal typing. For example, to find all the open bugs in the "TEST" project, you could simply type "test open bugs" and quick search would locate them all for you.

In Mozilla-based browsers, try creating a bookmark with URL =%s (substituting with your Jira instance's URL) and keyword (such as 'j'). Now, typing 'j my open bugs' in the browser URL bar will search your Jira instance for your open bugs. Or simply type your search term in the Quick Search box, then right-click on the Quick Search box (with your search term shown) and select "Add a Keyword for this search...".

If you are using Firefox or Internet Explorer 8 (or later), you can add your Jira instance as a search engine/provider via the drop-down menu next to the browser's search box. Once you add your Jira instance as a search engine/provider in your browser, you can use it at any time to conduct a Quick Search for issues in that Jira instance.

Jira supports this browser search feature as part of the autodiscovery part of the OpenSearch standard, by supplying an OpenSearch description document. This is an XML file that describes the web interface provided by Jira's search function. Any client applications that support OpenSearch will be able to add Jira to their list of search engines.

I would love to have ALL Results with a word/phrase in Quick-Switcher, not only ones where the word/phrase is in the title. A good example is nvALT/nvULTRA where you have a toolbar where you can search and create new files.

We have a SearchProvider that allows to search various Unity websites. Using this provider will open your default browser at a specific Unity page and perform a search and display some results. You can search the following websites and it is very easy to add new web search providers:

When doing filtering according to SearchContext.searchText we recommend using the static function SearchProvider.MatchSearchGroup which makes partial search (and eventually fuzzy search) easy (see example above).

If your search providers can take a long time to compute its results or rely on asynchronous search engine (ex: WebRequests) you can use the context.sendAsyncItems callback to populate search results asynchronously.

In response to public feedback regarding the retirement of the legacy search systems, a new simplified interface of Patent Public Search named Basic Search is now available. Basic Search is recommended for users new to Patent Public Search, or for users who only need to perform a quick look up.

PatFT, AppFT, PubEAST and PubWEST were retired on September 30. Preexisting links to U.S. patents and pre-grant publications are no longer available. You will need to create new links for saved documents. Read through this step-by-step guide on how to set up a web link to access a saved document, as well as set up saved search queries. For questions regarding Patent Public Search, please contact the Public Search Facility at psf@uspto.gov.

The Patent Public Search tool is a new web-based patent search application that will replace internal legacy search tools PubEast and PubWest and external legacy search tools PatFT and AppFT. Patent Public Search has two user selectable modern interfaces that provide enhanced access to prior art. The new, powerful, and flexible capabilities of the application will improve the overall patent searching process.

The Common Citation Document (CCD) application aims to provide single point access to up-to-date citation data relating to the patent applications of the IP5 Offices. It consolidates the prior art cited by all participating offices for the family members of a patent application, thus enabling the search results for the same invention produced by several offices to be visualized on a single page. The creation of the CCD application is part of an ongoing process of technical harmonization at international level aimed at establishing an appropriate infrastructure to facilitate greater integration of the global patent system.

To see if your idea has been patented abroad, you'll want to refer to searchable databases made available from other International Intellectual Property offices.

Free online access to patent collections is provided by many countries. Some available databases include:

For additional search resources, contact your local Patent and Trademark Resource Center, visit the USPTO Public Search Facility or the USPTO Main STIC Library. The staff in the Main STIC Library are experts on foreign patents and able to help the public as needed.

The Patent Examination Data System (PEDS) in the Amazon Cloud provides public users the ability to search, view and download bibliographic data for all publicly available Patent applications in a secure manner. The solution allows public users to search and download bibliographic data in bulk as well as manage the volume of data that can be downloaded at any given period of time by a particular user. ff782bc1db
