Greetings! I'm Anas Al Rafin, a Mechanical Engineer passionate about research, innovation, and engineering design. My journey has allowed me to gain experience in both Research & Development (R&D) and academic research, where I have worked on solving engineering problems through computational analysis, simulation, and practical product development. My academic and professional background has provided me with hands-on experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechanical design, additive manufacturing, and product development. I have been involved in research on cardiovascular flow simulations, thermal management systems, and numerical modeling, while also contributing to industrial R&D through product design, CAD modeling, prototype development, engineering validation, and manufacturing support.I enjoy transforming engineering concepts into practical solutions using tools such as ANSYS, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, SimVascular, MATLAB, and Arduino, combining analytical thinking with real-world engineering applications.Beyond academics and industry, I have actively participated in engineering communities as the Founding Chairperson of the AIAA AUST Student Branch and General Secretary of the AUST Robotics Club, experiences that strengthened my leadership, teamwork, and project management skills while working with multidisciplinary teams.I believe engineering is a continuous learning journey. I am always eager to explore new technologies, collaborate on meaningful research, and take on challenging engineering problems. Although my background is in Mechanical Engineering, I am open to interdisciplinary opportunities where I can learn, contribute, and grow.
Currently, I am seeking fully funded Master's or PhD opportunities, research collaborations, and engineering roles where I can apply my R&D experience, research background, and technical skills to develop innovative and impactful engineering solutions.
