MANIFESTO

I dream of the emergence of an ancient-future– implicating, entangling, inviting players into a shifting ecology of objects and somatics. Openings of a quiet rupture in consciousness, a threshold where the introspective erupts outward into sonic, corporeal materiality. A desire to conjure a world where dissolution and regeneration coexist, where creaturely becoming gestures toward a collective healing.

I am drawn to transformation in states of wellness and the theoretics of care—approaching art-making as a space for simultaneous rupture and repair. It is a soft anarchy exploring the rituals of mourning, grief, and the transformative power of primitive transcendence. It considers the body as a site of both biological and spiritual autonomy, where healing becomes an act of revolution. The intersection of art and technology enables a reimagining of wholeness, advocating for personal sovereignty through biohacking by combating endocrine disrupters from the residue of capitalist systematic greed. Prototyping strange utilities of dreamt-up interdimensional objects to biooptimize or hack biology in a dystopian spirituality of the ancient future. To democratize bio-spiritual care and discover forms of community immunity as an invocation.

Materiality manifests through a coalescence of metalwork, ceramics, painting, sound sculpture, performance, music, poetry and dance. Collaboration is at the core of my process—both as a method and a philosophy, curating community-centered art events. These gatherings are ecosystems of mutual support and risk-taking.
