Born and brought up in a small district of Madhya Pradesh, Rewa, I belong to a family of scholars. From being the first girl in the family to get an engineering degree to pursuing my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), it's been a journey. I seek inspiration from my grandmother, who is the epitome of women empowerment. It would be an extremely distinctive and gratifying experience to be able to do worthwhile research and work toward the betterment of society and my country.
I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. as a PMRF Fellow from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. I work at the Centre for Nanoscience and Engineering (CeNSE) in Nano Devices and Sensors lab group under the supervision of Prof. Navakanta Bhat. My work aims at exploring and developing next- generation nano-Biofet array based system for Biosensing applications.
I have done my M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology-Indore (IIT-Indore) from the department of Materials Science and Engineering. I did my M.Tech project under the supervision of Dr. Vipul Singh in Molecular and Nanoelectronics research group (MNRG), Dept of Electrical Engineering. My work aimed at the investigation of Inorganic- Organic Hybrid Photodetector.
I have done my B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science Gwalior (MITS). For the interest of electronic devices and circuits, my minor Project was designing of MOSFET Apparatus and plot its I-V characteristics. My major Project was Interfacing of automated homemade appliances by mobile using GSM Technique. I was conferred with Gold Medal for department Rank 1 and overall academic excellence.
