Hello,
As a doctoral student studying geology, I research the history and processes of Earth in an effort to decipher the messages contained in its rocks and gain a better understanding of its future.

Currently, my research interest is mainly focused on geochemistry. Dr. Madeline Lewis is my PhD advisor and we are working on the evolution of the Teton Range in Wyoming.
I graduated from Calcutta University in India with both a bachelor's and a master's degree.

A little bit more about me...
I firmly believe in equality, which means that I respect justice and fairness and support equal rights, opportunities, and treatment for all individuals, irrespective of their gender, color, ethnicity, or other traits. This idea frequently supports initiatives to combat discrimination, encourage diversity, and establish welcoming environments. My hobbies include traveling and reading fictional stories. Traveling allows me to experience new cultures, landscapes, and perspectives, fostering a deeper understanding of the world. It complements my belief in equality by exposing me to diverse communities and ways of life. At the same time, reading fiction offers a creative diversion and a chance to explore many worlds and stories. It enhances my empathy and understanding, as fiction often explores the human condition and challenges societal norms—values that resonate with my advocacy for equality. I also enjoy being a part-time gardener and spending time in nature.
