I am Ananya Nath. I have done my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur. Currently, I'm doing a direct Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in the department of Mechanical Engineering under Dr. Sagar Sarkar and Dr. Abhishek Das. I have been selected for the prestigious award Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF)  in my Ph.D. program. I have been to the University of Turku, Finland as a visiting researcher for 3 months in 2024. My broad topic of research is in the area of Laser-based Metal Additive Manufacturing. I work in the Laser Material Processing lab at IIT Delhi. I am a hardworking, passionate and a research enthusiastic person toward my work in the field of Additive Manufacturing.
