Hello! I'm an incoming Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University, where I will join the Geldsetzer Lab. My research will focus on applying econometric methods for causal inference to estimate the effects of shingles vaccination on dementia risk using large-scale electronic health records data.
I recently received my PhD in Economics from the University of Washington. My doctoral research applied both experimental and quasi-experimental methods to questions in development economics, with a particular focus on gender. I examined how information, social norms, and networks shape women's decision-making and access to economic opportunities in developing countries.
I also hold an M.A. and M.Phil. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and a B.A. (Honors) in Economics from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi.
