I am an Applied Mathematician, working in the area of Computational Neuroscience, with Dr. Carmen C. Canavier at LSU Health, New Orleans.
I am interested in mathematical modeling and analyzing dynamical systems. I apply mathematical theory to complex systems such as biological neurons, infectious diseases and predator-prey systems. I work with data and run simulations as a part of my work.
My enthusiasm for 'seeing things' helps me in understanding concepts deeper and thereby drives my research. My confidence in my communication skills along with the clarity of concept drives my teaching.
In my free time, I sing Indian Classical, semi-classical music, play volleyball and volunteer for Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, USA.
Look into my blog if you wish to read my mind more!!
