I’m Anand Patel, a Master’s student in Computer Science at Rutgers University, specializing in AI and machine learning. I enjoy building software and intelligent systems that solve real-world problems.
Build predictive models, classification systems, and intelligent applications using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Design and implement full-stack applications, including real-time systems and interactive tools.
Transform complex datasets into actionable insights through clean, interactive visualizations.
Research Assistant – Computational Biomedicine Imaging and Modeling.
I am working under Prof. Konstantinos P. Michmizos on the Bionik InMotion ARM SE4 and SE4HA4 platforms for neurorehabilitation research, where I designed a server-based architecture to connect and synchronize both robots for real-time data flow and coordinated operation. I developed databases and data pipelines to manage telemetry, including torque, force, and kinematic parameters, and built cross-robot therapeutic challenges and interactive modules that enable patients to engage in coordinated tasks across both systems.
Internship - Data Scientist
I conducted a deep analysis of operational and customer data, building over 5 interactive Power BI dashboards to monitor 10+ core product KPIs. I also designed frameworks to evaluate feature adoption and engagement across multiple product areas, supporting strategic growth decisions. I collaborated with cross-functional client teams to integrate analytics into apps, improving usability and adoption through actionable insights, and automated reporting pipelines that reduced manual work by 30% and improved data reliability by 25%, enabling real-time tracking, metric monitoring, and strategic recommendations that enhanced feature adoption and customer satisfaction across several departments.
Intern– Data Scientist
I analyzed 500,000+ records using SQL, Excel, and visualization tools to deliver insights and recommendations across three business functions, built four automated dashboards and six recurring reports that reduced manual reporting time by 20% and enabled real-time metric monitoring for better strategic decisions and improved product performance, and conducted exploratory analysis on ten datasets, uncovering patterns and anomalies that led to five key optimizations and enhanced operational efficiency.
Intern – Android Mobile Application Developer
I developed an Android patient portal that supports appointment booking, access to 100+ treatment records, secure interaction with healthcare data, and real-time notifications, while enabling user engagement tracking and product usage analytics for feature optimization. I implemented AI/ML features, building predictive models to optimize scheduling, forecast trends, and support decisions for 200+ patients, and applied NLP and data workflows to extract insights from over 1,000 patient feedback entries, driving data-driven improvements in clinic operations.
