Anandita Krishnamachari is a fifth-year doctoral student in the Research, Statistics and Evaluation program at the Curry School of Education. Before coming to Curry, she worked as a Data and Policy Fellow at Achievement First, a charter management organization that operates a network of 30 schools in New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island. She handled their accountability requirements, minimizing distraction at the school level in the reporting process. She earned her B.A in Sociology from the University of Madras in 2013, India and her M.S in Social Policy from the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania in 2014.

Anandita's research interests include designing, implementing and evaluating interventions and policies that influence teacher beliefs, skills and student outcomes.
