June 2024–April 2025: State of California / Cal Poly Corporation Subaward 2024-18-49569, “An Alternative HIN That More Accurately Reflects VRU Collision Patterns for Vision Zero Implementation,” PI, $19,892.00 awarded. This project funded MATH 696 and MATH 697 research for undergraduate students, and the findings will be presented at the International Conference on Transportation & Development, Transportation Safety, 2026, by Professor A. Pande, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
January 2024–May 2024: Advancing Inclusive Mentoring (AIM) at SFSU, part of the California State University AIM program, $1,000 honorarium awarded. This program provided more than 12 hours of content and discussion on positive and inclusive mentoring practices and required the creation of a mentor-mentee compact as a best practice in student mentoring.
January 2024–May 2024: NSF LEAPS-MPS grant, Award #2316746, $750 honorarium awarded. This program funded a series of professional workshops and compensation stipends for up to 15 participants through SFSU’s partnership with the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) bootcamp and the CEETL Transforms workshop.
